How was everyone's New Years? Fun, exciting, maybe boring?

Mine was really boring, but that's okay. I'm old and boring as-is anyway. :P I'm okay with having a low-key New Years. ^_^

I ended up falling asleep right before 10 so I just spent it sleeping! XD It was a good one in my opinion. :)

At least I wasn't the only one who had a low-key new years! Sleep is always fun in my opinion, @heyitsmemelissa(#3082)

Well, my family was planning on having a get-together with a bunch of extended family... but no one was interested. I think we were all pretty exhausted from Christmas (who the heck decided to put those two right next to eachother?) so we didn't do anything either. I think I watched How To Train Your Dragon on television.

New Year's is a hard one to have energy for, especially if there is a lot of family stuff happening around Christmas. Good choice of mobie though @PepperMint(#1911)!

Well, it was really windy so our power went out at ~10pm. We have a natural fireplace and I love tending fires, so that was actually useful that night! Plus two candles for the kitchen. The power came back on at 11:50pm, and the cable finished booting back up at 11:58, so we just barely watched the ball drop lol.

I wish I could've lit the fireplace for new years but.. I'm in Australia :(
It was really nice and slow, just video games and chilling with friends, a bit of yelling each time our individual time zones hit 12 ahaha

@Valkjrye(#5421) Summer beach bonfire maybe?  :)

And lol, my friend group also made jokes the entire time only half of us were in 2019. "Imagine still being in 2018" etc.

@Valkyre(#1489) Hey, fellow Australian! :D

Video games and chilling with friends sounds just as fun as a fireplace could ever be, also I know what you mean by screaming each time the timezones hit 12! Watching sooo many live fireworks is the best part of New Year's.
